PSALM 25:4 STATES: One thing I asked of the Lord, that will I seek after: to live in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the Lord, and to inquire in his temple.

To inquire in his temple! It is an interesting phrase as we come to a major event in our inquiry. We will inquire in his temple about his temple.

Obviously, Ebenezer folks love their church, their Lord, and their brothers and sisters in Christ. The inquiry affirmed that. We now take the next step.

Sunday, March 21, we will hold an inquiry in the “temple of the Lord.” We meet in the basement at 9:30 and begin with worship. The results of the inquiry and two exercises will follow. We will conclude with lunch. Youth, grade six through high school will meet with the inquiry as we want their input. Nursery and Heaven’s Express (Sunday School) for age 4 through fifth grade will meet from 10:00 to 11:30.

This is a major gathering in our church’s life and planning. You will find it a spiritually engaging experience and a joyful fellowship. Yes, it won’t be the usual Sunday, but it will be a good Sunday.

Your transition team has worked hard to make this even meaningful. We are convinced you will want to hear the preliminary results of the inquiry. Put the date on your calendar. Pray for a great attendance and for wisdom and insight into the next steps.

Are our memories bigger than our dreams? We pray they aren’t. Plan to make this day a great day in the future of Ebenezer!
